Foundation Walk Raises $132,000!

The weather held on Sunday October 6th as 5 Port Perry members including President Bob, Alyson, Roy, Terry and Richard walked in the Rotary Foundation walk. This years effort raised $132,000 for the foundation. The walk, which took about 1 1/2 hours, took us through historic Newmarket as well as along the trails and river. We got a chance to talk to other Rotarians from all over Ontario making new friends and rekindling older ones. During lunch DG Valerie Wafer told the over 100 walkers that the District grants, (one of which is our India grant!) would be forthcoming in the next few weeks.
