Jeff Stralak and Debbie Smith of the Oshawa Vikings Mixed-Ability Rugby Team will discuss the team of mixed ability players who have represented Canada at the International Mixed Ability Tournament (IMART) in Ireland and will go to Spain in 2025. Danielle Herder, the President of the Whitby Rotary Club, has advised me they are excellent speakers and the story of inclusion is consistent with Rotary values. |

This is a District Initiative which is very interesting. 25 indigenous students and 25 non indigenous students spent one week together in structured workshops. One of the students from a previous year will likely join the speaker. bob strickert saw a presentation at the district conference and was very impressed. an invitation has been extended to speak. |
