The Rotary Club of Port Perry is proud to support the North Durham Chamber of Commerce’s Save the Float campaign, an initiative dedicated to restoring the beloved Santa Float—a holiday tradition that has brought joy to families in our community for decades.
After many years of parades and winter weather, Santa’s iconic float is in need of significant repairs. To help preserve this cherished tradition, Rotarian Terry Coyne presented a cheque for $2,000 to restoration committee members Jillian Howsam and Laura Dunlop.
This contribution is part of Rotary’s ongoing commitment to supporting local projects that strengthen community spirit and preserve the traditions that make Port Perry so special. By investing in the future of Santa’s Float, Rotary is helping ensure that the magic of the holiday season continues to delight generations to come.
